Monster Spray

Ingredients: Courage of a Knight, bravery of a lion, magic of a wizard, strength of superman, powers of superheroes. AKA Green food dye and water.

Monster spray should be in every parents arsenal. When our kids are scared of monsters or anything scary we whip out monster spray and tell them that it kills ALL monsters and scary things. After a few dramatic sprays in the closet, under the bed, and anywhere else they think a scary monster might be hiding the problem is solved. We haven't had a problem with scared kids ever since we started using this trick.

1. What was I doing 10 years ago?
-About to graduate from High School.
2. 5 things on my to-do list today?
-Workout, clean the house, take a shower, get taxes done, have sex
3. What snacks do I enjoy? dark chocolate, any type of bread, fruit, if calories didn't count: doughnuts, candy, cake, soda, guac, ice cream etc.....
4. What would I do if I were suddenly a billionaire?
-Buy a huge house and pay for it in cash. Buy a stingray corvette. Go on a shopping spree for the rest of my life. Get a maid. Go on a billion vacations. Help our families out. Buy Panama for Cade. College and mission funds. Invest. Buy the Lakers. Have Nick Orojo cut my hair (from what not to wear).
5. 3 bad habits?
-Picking my nose when no one is looking (you know you all do it), according to Cade nagging, biting my check
6.5 places I have lived?
-CA, UT, ID, the parking lot of the Ricks College football stadium (total white trash)
7. 5 jobs I've had?
-Cleaning my Grandma's house (it scared me), Secretary for my daddy, Secretary for Caroll and Co, Waitress for Ruby River, MAMA.
8. 5 thing people don't know about me.
-I used to have horses and ride them with out a saddle or bridal.
-I LOVE LOVE LOVE dark chocolate. Milk chocolate tastes like poop unless it is godiva or dove.
-I was 5'10" and now I am 5'8 1/2". I seriously think I shrunk because of pregnancy.
-I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE being prego.
-I used to be really good at making friends, ever since I became a Mom I don't go out of my way as much so I usually become friends with my friends, friends. I really need to work on that.

Baseball

This is the first year Coop is old enough to play on a real baseball team. He is on the Yankees. I honestly think he is excited, but we are more excited. The pics aren't the greatest, but it is still a fun experience for the whole family.

Coop's 1/2 Birthday

It was Cooper's 1/2 birthday!!! Coop's preschool celebrates 1/2 birthdays for the kids whos birthdays fall in summer. Very thoughtful of them....means doughnuts for me...oh and the kids in his class get some to.

I FINALLY did it!!!!

I have been meaning to do this for a while now....start a recipe blog. I am one of those annoying people who always asks, "Can I have that recipe." I really can't help it. I mean if you love something......it is a must. I have people ask me for my recipes all of the time and now I can just direct them to my blog. For now the name if Sauce Sensations. It is under construction (I have to change the blog address....etc...) and needs a little fine tweaking, but for now it works. I hope you all enjoy and I promise I would never put something on there that is not absolutely to DIE FOR!!! Your taste buds can trust me. It is under Fav Links....Sauce Sensations

Florida Vacation

Over presidents day weekend Cade and I got to go to FL on a VACATION. Not to be confused with a trip as defined by Tyler Carlson. (Trip with kids, vacation without kids). John and Christy were the perfect hosts and showed us as much of FL as we could take in. Thanks for making our vacation the best ever. We love and miss you a ton!!

Before we left on our fan boat tour this bird was just chillin'.



Our first Florida experience was a fan boat ride in the Everglades.....SOOOO much fun. I seriously thought the gator was going to jump in the boat. And yes I did kiss Cade after he gave shagnasty the baby gator a smooch.


You couldn't pay me to step in the water.....SCARRRRRY!

I had to take a pic of our tour guide. When you picture a fan boat tour of the everglades, doesn't an image of this guy pop in you head!!!!

Later that day we went out on the town. First we ate dinner at Grille 66, which was amazing. If you ever get a chance to go there, DO!

The comment I heard after this pic was, "I feel like we are going to prom."

This wins the award for funniest pic of the trip!!! Right after Cade and I finish telling John and Christy about how we went on a date to Orzo in Hollywood and Cade got the tiniest diet coke EVER, the waitor brings out the second tinniest diet coke ever. It was even smaller in person. So John is pinching it with his fingers and taking the smallest sip, so he won't drink it all in one gulp! HAHAHAHAHA!!!



A-1-A Beach Front Avenue!! Yes thank you Vanilla Ice Ice Baby. I had no idea this was a real street and so we had to take a pic. We strolled on A1A Beach Front Ave before the UFC fight and had yummy ice cream.

UFC Fight!! John and Christy got hooked up by John Beck with UFC tickets. (Sad they couldn't make it.) I had never been to one and was soooo excited to go. Luckily there was no blood. The main event was Kimbo Slice vs. and they were seriously LIKE ANIMAL! (Austin powers quote) The fight was over so quick. I can't believe some people get the crap beat out of them for a living. Rocks for brains????

"The Valentines Day Candy was on sale."

ROCK STAR!!! John and Christy got guitar hero and became the latest rocks stars. I think we went to a million stores to try and find a second guitar..but alas we did not. We had a blast anyway.

Slash our nemesis!!! I think John and Cade tried about 30 times to beat Slash on guitar hero. Finally....Victory!!! Christy and I had no such luck. I hate Slash!!!!

You know you have good friends when you can not see them for 2-3 years and when you get together it is like you saw each other yesterday. We love them so much and are glad they are some of our very best friends. Till we meet again...we will miss you a ton!!
