Carter's Easter Sing-a-long

I got lots of video of his performance, just not a lot of pictures. Thanks for doing such a good job Carter!

I spent the rest of the afternoon with my Mom.

On the way back from shopping to pick up Carter. Thanks for the car seat Brynna. My Mom accidently drove away with it in her car.

My wonderful darling of a husband with his own sweat and blood and tiny spinal cavity made this wonderful fireplace for me. He worked so hard on it and did such a great job I just had to brag about him!! Thanks sweetie!

Carter's Bike-a-thon

Carter had a bike-a-thon last month and it was sooo cute. He is finally getting to do everything that big brother has gotten to do. He wants to be Cooper's size soooo badly and I just want him to stay just the way he is.

Brian Clay's kid goes to the same school that Carter goes to. It is kinda cool. Here is this amazing gold medalist being a good parent just like the rest of us. He is a really nice guy! He handed all of the kids "gold medals" for participating in the bike-a-thon. I love going to all of these cute little pre-school things.

Day 8

Day 8
YAY this was the final day of our trip! To start we did a session at the temple. It was soooo amazing. It think it was even more amazing for Cade, because he had a hand in there being a need for a temple in Panama. Can't beat that feeling!

Before we went to the temple we looked at some homes in the area. This is the one that Cade wants to buy. What do ya think? We would have to majorly fix it up.

If you look to the right of this picture you will see a police man with a freakin' huge gun!!! They all pack heat like this.
ROJO DIABLO!!!!! This is a picture of one of the buses in Panama. They are called rojo diablos or red devils. This is the main mode of transportation. Cade said that the bus company gives each driver some money to paint it however they want to. I think they are hilarious!!!!

The church building in Las Lomas. (an area where Cade served.)

The house to the left is one of the homes Cade lived in . When he lived there they didn't have an air conditioner. The missionaries who live there now do. Ticked him off a little! HAHA!

A family Cade knew when he was there.

Cade wanted to visit another family and this is the way the girl took us. I was like.....where the heck are we going....

Cade also lived here on the top right.

The Hilux trucks are THE trucks in Panama.

This is what the whole city looked like.

And a big kiss to my hubby for an amazing vacation that I will never forget. It was such an eye opener and I loved every minute of our adventure. Can't wait to do it again!!!! I love you 15!!!!!

Day 7

Day 7
Cade and I woke up at the crack of dawn and hopped on a plane back to Panama city. Checked in and then went exploring........to some SCARY places. The first place we went to was Colon. I only have one picture from there because I was to scared to take any more. When we were trying to find this place to eat we asked a local where it was. this old man told us the way then he said, "Come back exactly the way you came or you WILL get ROBBED!!!" Excuse me? ahhhhh! Holy Cow!! This place was sooo bad. Our good friend Paul Dommer warned Cade not to take me there because it was muy peligroso, (very dangerous..check that espanol out!) But for some reason Cade took me there any way. AHHHHHHHH!

So this is where we ate. While we were eating four guys walked in. I SWEAR they were Panama mafioso!! SERIOUSLY! So we ate as fast as we could and got the heck out of there.
The next place we went to was Gamboa.

This place was like heaven compared to Colon. I thought all of Panama was going to look like this. Cade just laughed at me when I said that.
Next time we come I want to stay here!!
They have an awesome spa at this hotel so Cade and I got a couple massage. That is why we look all shiny in this pic. (sorry for the no makeup!) HEAVEN!

Then we tried to go to Arrihan......AHHHHHHHHH and AHHHHHH again!!!!!! This place was just as scary as Colon. These pics are what the whole town looked like. This time I was brave enough to take some pictures.

So after the scary places Cade took me to one of our favorite restaurants in Panama. Cafe Barko. They have the most amazing flan in the entire world.

Cafe Barko
Even though I thought I was going to DIE most of this day it was really fun to tour this part of the country with Cade. By the time we got to Arrihan I was just laughing because it was so much fun. I felt like I was in a true adventure.....risking my life.....hahahahahahaha! The flan made me feel better!!! :)
