Christmas Boat Parade

One of my very favorite Christmas traditions is the Newport Beach Boat Parade. It is always so amazing to see all the boats lit up and how much fun my kids have watching it.

Cooper loves it!

Bryan, Kathryn, Brynna and Kenzy came and they love it!

My Dad got these thermoses that kept the hot chocolate super hot the whole trip. It was such a great idea! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Cade and I love it!!!!

Some of the amazing yachts.

This one is always my favorite!

We took one of Cooper's best friends Jake Lowry with us too and he loved it!!!!

Snuggles to keep warm.

Ornament Exchange

One of my friends invited me to an ornament exchange. I had never been to one before. It was sooo fun!

The kids really loved it to.

She read a story called Christmas Magic and everytime she read the word THE the kids had to pass their ornament to the right. So Fun! After the kids had their exchange they played while the adults did their ornament exchange. Loved it!

Friends Christmas Party

My friend Jennifer VanWoerkom and I decided to have a Christmas party with a few our friends. WOW!!! Was it ever a blast. Almost everyone came and hopefully they all has as much fun as we did. The only problem was we would invite tons more people if we could!

To start out we had dinner which was a pot luck taco bar. I posted the recipe for the ground turkey and shredded chicken we used on my recipe blog.

Then we had a white elephant gift exchange. Which was hilarious!!!!

Amber and Ben brought this Bud Light....it really had Root Beer in it! HAHAHAHA!

I brought the best gift in the whole wide world. Let me start by saying the entire reason, besides the fact that I love my friends, was so I could bring this particular white elephant gift!!!!!!!! I was super duper excited and it still tickles me pink that I pulled it off.

I had to tell them to be very careful when they were opening the gift and that made them a little nervous.

it was a RAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you can't tell by the expression on his face, he wasn't' to thrilled. I thought there was no way in this entire world that anyone would be steeling this gift. I was WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!

Karen Murphy wanted it!!! She has five boys...enough said! I love this girl!!!!
So in the end we all decided that we need to do this EVERY year! So much fun!

Letters to Santa

The way you get you letters to Santa in our house is super special.

First you write the letter

Then to send it to himk you put it in the fire.

Once it is ashes that means that Santa got it. Santa is always nice and sends us a copy of it back once he has checked it out. The kids love it!

Carter's Christmas Sing-s-long

At first he wasn't to sure about the whole thing.

Then he started to sway with the song and get into it.

Grandma even made it up! He loved to see her there. You did a great job buddy!

Gingerbread performance

Cooper's Gingerbread performance. He did such a great job!
