Christmas 2008-Our Denver Adventure

This year was Cade's parents turn to have us for Christmas.  We arrived on Sat evening and it was off to the races.....we had so many fun things to do.   We started off going to the Bronco game.  Can I just say it was the coldest experience of my ENTIRE life.  We sat in 5 degree weather for FOUR hours.  Sometimes I would put my head down into my scarf because it was so dang cold.  The game was a blast though.  It was fun to see the Broncos play and as an added bonus we also got to see Ryan play.    I only got one picture at the game and then my camera died.....I hate when that happens.

The Denney's met us at the game.  It was really fun to see them all.  Love you all!!!!

Ryan Denney, Cade, Jason Ott, and Brett Denney at the caroling party.

Right after the game the Denneys, the Thorntons, and the McMullin clan had a caroling party.

Lisa Thornton, Martha McMullin, and Sheri Denney

Kim Denney and I.

The group caroling........it was freakin' freezing!!!!

When we are in Denver we try to see as many of our friends as possible.  Tyler, Amber, Brooklyn and Boston met us for lunch.  Jason Ott came also.  Can I just tell everyone that Amber is very prego and you can't even tell!!!!!  I secretly hate your guts Am!!!!  j/k we love you guys!  It was so fun to see you.

This is a picture at the annual snowmobiling party.  All of the people that come up to the cabin and snowmobile get together for a little Christmas party every year.  It is always so fun and a good way to get to see all of the people we want to visit while in town.

My little snow bunny.

Cade's family has a tradition of going to see a play every Christmas.  This year we saw It's a Wonderful Life.  I have never seen the movie or play so it was a first for me.  I loved it.  Plays are always so much fun.

Reagie waiting for one of Grandma Mack's yummy meals.

My girlie and I.

We acted out the Christmas story.......or rather tried to.   Cole, Cooper, and Carter were the wise men.  Axton was 8 pound 6 ounce baby Jesus!!  They all played their parts well. HAHAHAHA!!!

The trail to the loot.

The stockings hung with care.

Daddy helping Reagan with her stocking toys.

Reagan liked the basket that I got for Christmas and decided to sit in it the rest of the morning.  Silly girl!

Grandpa Mack and his new hat.

Cole and his new helmet.

Reagan and her baby alive.  She loves this baby.

Reagan and cousin Axton in their matching Bronco gear.

This year some of our good friends came with us to the cabin.  Can I just say we had a BLAST!!  It was a lot of kids.....a lot of boys that is, with our two families combined.  The kids loved every minute of it.

Brigham and Cooper on the drive up to the cabin.

Grandma and Reagan.  Reagan was over due for a nap at this point and refused to even look at the camera.  I have about four pics of her not looking at the camera.

My little Carter loving the snow.

Mike Davis and the man that runs the whole Davis house, Paul Davis.  Paul is two and knows what's up!!

Carter getting ready to go for a ride.

Christmas story any one?  At least she never got cold and looked adorable!!

A family ride to the camp grounds.  Reagan loved riding.

Joseph, Reagan and Paul.

Grandpa Mack and Carter on our night ride

Crea was such a good Grandpa and teacher.  This was Cooper's first year on his own snowmobile, so Crea would stop every so often and give Coop instructions and advice on the proper snowmobiling techniques.  It was sooooo cute!!!!

Cade and I traded off watching the kids so we could go on a long ride.  Can I just tell you it is the most amazing fun thing to do in the whole world.  Here I am sporting helmet head hair on top of Big Ridge.

The crew after getting up the first big hill....only two more to go.

The second huge hill.  Balls to the wall.

The last big climb through these amazing trees.  Here is Crea busting through.

Virgin snow.  Every snowmobilers dream.

Megan and I on top of the world.

Carter, Reagan and Brigham.  We did a lot of sleading.  So fun!

The lodge.  I love this place.

The bunk house.  I love this place too!

Cade going through some powder.

The Davis family.   Thanks so much for coming with us.  We all had so much fun with you guys there.  My boys thought they had died and gone to heaven with all of these friends up at the cabin.  We love you!!!!  Five crowns anyone?

Carter Bo Barter.

One of the favorite activities during the week.  We couldn't be out in the snow 24/7 so thank goodness for play station.  ALL of the boys loved this.
Cooper, Paul, Brigham, Cooper, Joseph.

Dan and Megan in the snow fort.

Cooper on his snowmobile.  As I said eariler this was the first year he could actually drive a snowmobile all by himself.  I thought the kid had died and gone to heaven.  We couldn't get him off of it and that was ok by us.  My little boy isn't so little anymore.

Cade, Reagan and Carter.

Danny, Mike, Cade and the boys in the snow fort.  Danny is such a fun uncle.  He went out there and helped the boys for hours to build this thing.

The boys eating cookies.

Thank you so much Crea and Martha for another amazing year of snowmobiling.  Our family loves it and is already looking forward to next year.  We love you guys more than you will ever know!!

Pre Christmas

Every other year we have to do Christmas a little early before we head out to CO. Since my parents moved down to Balboa we decided to open presents and then see the boat parade. All I can say is that it was AMAZING!! One of the coolest displays of lights EVER!!!!! We all loved it. I feel a tradition coming on.

Kevin holding a tired and grouchy Reagan.

Watching the lights on the boat with Grandma.

I would have to agree with Kathryn, this was my favorite boat.

Kendra, Coop and my Dad.

Instead of watching it from the shore, we all hopped in my Dad's boat to watch it. So much fun!!!!

I think the kids liked this boat a lot.

Whoever owns these 100 foot yachts has way way to much money....that's all I know.

The next night we opened presents as a family at our house.

Cooper has a ton of tigers. He fell in love with them when his Uncle Cole gave him his special tiger. Tigers protect you when you sleep don't ya know. So now Carter finally has his own special tiger. Just like big brother.

Reagan has just woken up when we took this picture. She loves this toy.

Christmas Programs

I love watching my kids programs at school. I am so proud of them both.
